Trade in Fraud.

Since obtaining service with AT & T my service has been just about null, with poor connection, failed internet search, and not working most of the time, what's crazy is the phone will even say there is no DATA. because of these issues I have phone service that is hindering my ability to effectively communicate with my children when picking them up from school because there is no service, I am stuck outside of my home because my alarm app can not connect, because of the AT & T poor connection. I can go on and on about all the times my service has been/is ineffective. I have tried to resolve these issues with AT & T since about January 2022 for the service I obtained in late November, ATT started with errors on the first bill, and no email/username was set up in the system for review my account for over a month, therefore I had no access to the account. I'm being charged for a Galaxy Note 10 that I brought over from T-Mobile. The actual ATT phone that should be getting charged is not showing anything owing. I have called ATT to resolve this issue on multiple occasions to no resolution. The kicker to this cellphone mishap is that ATT is giving me a credit for a phone I traded in on a phone I brought over to ATT from T-Mobile. Hopefully, someone can clearly see the big picture of all the mishaps and stressors I have endured. Nevertheless, with all this going on, I have tried to be patient with ATT, I cannot tell you the number of times in 7 months I have called ATT and spoken to tech support or reps without resolution to this poor service in Maricopa,

AZ. AT & T your store reps are hurting consumers to make a commission, which in tells is providing POOR service and being forced to pay a phone that's on installment. This is trade-in fraud and stilling from consumers. You just can't keep someone's items without paying for that item.

I want my Galaxy Note 10 back or the full $800.00 credit for what it was valued.

Too late.   You had 14 days to return the new phone,  and 30 days to trade in.

AT&T doesn't have your note 10.

It's not fraud.

No one forced you,  you picked this.

Unfortunately, if you sent a phone in for trade, it’s gone to a recycler and you won’t be getting it back.  As far as $800 for a traded in phone, that is paid out as a monthly bill credit, not as a lump sum.  You have to pay over the full 36 months of the installment plan to get the full $800.  If you pay off early, you lose any credits you haven’t received yet.  As far as the reception issues, unfortunately all carriers have dead zones where coverage is very weak.  It sounds like you may be in one.  It’s unlikely that AT&T is going to fix that, that’s why they have the 14 day return period.  If you’ve been living with it for 7 months, you’re well past any return, and your options are very limited.

Your best bet may be to file a BBB complaint.
