Recent Order shows up as sim var embedded dummy
Ordered a iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13, iPhone 13 shows up but I think the 13 Pro must be showing up as sim var embedded dummy. Why is it like that, does that mean they are still setting it up?

As previous agent stated, SIM Var Embedded dummy simply means that the type of SIM on the device may be an eSIM which will be downloaded on Cellular Settings. Learn more about eSIM activation on the link provided above.

How are you ordering the phones? Upgrade of existing lines, new lines, or ports from another carrier?

The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 were both new lines, and been with AT&T.

Are the estimated shipping date for both the same? It sounds like one is further along the process than the other.

Only the 13 is showing up as shipping, also iPhone 13 pro doesn't show up anywhere in recent orders it just shows the SIM VAR EMBEDDED dummy thing but it shows the exact date and time I remember ordering the phone. So could just be them still processing the phone.

Still only shows the SIM VAR EMBEDDED DUMMY as the most recent device ordered, we first ordered the iPhone 13 and then the 13 Pro after but doesn't show up in Order Management Portal. The SIM VAR EMBEDDED DUMMY shows that it shipping on the 23rd which is today, but no recent orders show up as the 13 Pro and the 13 was already shipped to the store.

Ok, I found the email in which it said that I made the Pre-Order and it shows the 13 Pro, when I click view order details it takes to the SIM VAR EMBEDDED DUMMY.

All iPhone 13 models have both physical SIM slots and an eSIM, and I haven’t heard that AT&T has started shipping their phones with the eSIM instead of the physical nano SIM, so that doesn’t seem like a likely explanation. More likely it’s just a placeholder for the order and that phone isn’t ready to ship. AT&T probably sold out of that particular model for launch day delivery and the phone is on backorder. Alternately, something may be messed up with the order.
