Phone Trade In

Ok, so I’m leaving my current Sprint plan with my iPhone XS Max and coming to AT&T. I decided to upgrade and use my XS Max as trade in credit to the upcoming 12 Pro Max. Reading through the details since I did this all online, they'll send me the 12 Pro Max on November 13th via mail and inside the package will have a return label to send my old device back so I get the credit. There is an AT&T shop literally 10 minutes form my house, could I drop off my trade in device there? Would that be acceptable?

nonononon the return label included with the new iphone is to return the 12 if your not happy with it, its not to send in your trade in, they go to 2 different states and return cnters and it will be a nightmare for you. you will receive another label after you receive and activate the new phone. you were lucky and asked here first so you dont lose your trade in. as far as the store taking it i wouldnt think so but you call and ask them

I made the mistake of sending my old Iphone for trade in after getting the iPhone 12 . It’s been 2 months and not sure how to get the credits . We called and discussed with the AT&T support center and they asked us to look out for an email once the warehouse /return center received the package. We can then request them to return the same to us which can then be sent back using the right exchange label which is with us . However it’s been almost 2 months and we don’t have any email from them .. is it a dead end now ? How do we get our credit or the phone back ? I am sure there kuch be a way to track this common error made by most customers who haven’t seen this post like me ! AT&T can you help ?

I made the mistake and sent my trade in using the return packaging that came with the new iphone back in July 2020.  I am told it went to a warehouse in Fort Worth.  It has been 6 months of calling and calling and nothing. No one knows where the phone is or can help me resolve. Talk about a nightmare.

I've called, and chatted on line.....and I still haven't received shipping info or packaging to return my old phones for trade-in.  I received my new phones over 5 weeks ago, and still have no way to send old phones in for trade credit on my account.
