My iPhone 14 stopped getting verification texts

Sometime over the last weekend my iPhone 14 stopped getting verification texts and notifications from my banks. These are things like verifications when trying to log on from an unfamiliar device or messages when I make a charge on my credit card. Some things to note...

I have made no changes to my phone

I have tried all possible fixes that I have seen on-line, this includes restarting phone, message app settings etc.

None of these numbers are blocked

My wife got the exact same phone on the exact same day and is on the same plan and hers still works

I can type 'HELP' in an existing message from one of these bank numbers and DO NOT get an auto response

It is very important that this gets fixed because I will not be able to get alerts from my banks or other sources. I have no way of knowing what I might be missing already.
