Message Us01lv

Hello, I am trying to call my friend. We both have an iPhone at the moment and we were texting around 10pm and they sent me a message then an hour later I sent a message back and when I sent the message my messages didn’t deliver and I tried calling and I got the message saying the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time please try your call again later. They just paid their phone bill a week ago. So their service isn’t disconnected. They reside in California. Could this possibly mean they have blocked my number through their at and t account /carrier ? Is that the message I would get when I call someone who has blocked my number or if they possibly changed their number ?

Hello @Annmarie1, we are here to help with your calling issue. The possible reasons you would get this error when calling someone is that their: Account is not in active status, incoming calls are blocked via a service or device feature, the number is in process of being ported to another carrier or the phone is off and voicemail is not set up. They could also be out of range. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach back out if there are any other issues. Kailonie J, AT&T Community Specialist
