Keep getting AT&T plan ready to be installed even though it is already installed. How to I get rid of this notification?

Have a iPad Pro 12. After spending a couple of hours on the phone with AT&T support because my cell data wasn’t working I got this notification on my phone and it keeps coming back. The AT&T store fixed my cell data problem by using a physical SIM card instead of using my eSim, but I still get these notifications since using phone support. How do I get rid of them?

We want to help provide a solution to the notification you're receiving on your iPad, @Pbastedo

Here's how to access and edit notification settings on your iPad device:

  • To access notifications settings, from the home screen select the settings app Settings app.
  • Select Notifications, then adjust settings as desired.

If this doesn't help, we have a few recommendations we'd like you to try:

  • Restart your device. ~ This is a quick resolve to most errors you receive on your device.
  • Toggle Airplane mode on and off. ~ This will help sync your device to nearby towers.
  • Reset your network settings. ~ This will help restore the default settings on the device.

You can also sign in to our Device Support tool for step-by-step troubleshooting tutorials.

Please keep our community updated on how this works for you.

I have this same problem.  I wanted to add cellular back to my ipad pro.  AT&T store tried to add it via eSim but it did not work.  So they added a physical Sim card.  Cellular works fine.  But I EVERY SINGLE day I get a notification that an AT&T plan is ready to be installed.   I went back to the AT&T store and they said they fixed it so that I would not get the notification anymore.  That was yesterday.  I woke up this morning, and guess what?  I have a notification that an AT&T plan is ready to be installed.  I am beyond frustrated at this point.  I am thinking about switching to Verizon now.

I know this is an old post, but I'm considering buying an iPad that also has the "plan ready to be installed message".  Does this mean I have to use it with AT&T or is it considered 'unlocked' and I could use it with another carrier?
