iPhone 6 Plus Backorder

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know the "real" wait status for the iPhone 6 Plus 64 or 128 gb?

We ordered them on Oct 22nd and the ship date is 12/2-12/11. Was wondering what others are experiencing with the actual ship time.

I ordered 9/24. My ship dates were 11-3 to 11-12. 6 plus, 64GB space grey. I am still waiting with no updates. Att can't give me a straight answer. I filed complaints this week with the FCC and the BBB.

6-8 weeks cause I heard iPhone back ordered 3 times. The first orders aren't even fulfilled. So it continues to push back current orders. I ordered 11/1 expected shipment 12/11-22.

I ordered mine on sept 19th the pre Auth fell off a few days later. I checked this morning and it has been pulled from my account. My ship dates are 11/3 - 11/27. It will ship Monday more then likely.

877# says Back ordered

866# says processed and will ship soon

866 Customer Service says will ship no later the 11/7

From Day 1 ATT says prepairing to ship. Never Changed.

FWIW:

iPhone 6 plus, Space Grey 128gb

ordered at AT&T store 9/30

projected ship dates 11/7 - 11/18

so my shipping window opens tomorrow. I spoke to the very helpful AT&T store mgr. at the store I ordered from...when she checked her system, which supposedly has the latest updates, she said orders placed at the stores today for a phone of my description are subject to a 35 BUSINESS day delay. At that rate orders placed today would have a projected ship date of later than 12/20! Taking my order date of 9/30 and counting 35 business days yields a ship date of 11/4...not too far off of my 11/7 opening date. We'll see (fingers crossed).

Remember 35 business days means no Saturday's and Sunday's. So I ordered 9-25 and my projected ship dates are 11-4 to 11-13. Still no update. So 35 business days for me is 11-13 and 35 business days for you would be 11-18. Losing hope it will come a day before 35 business days.

You're in the same boat as my. We ordered on the same say 64GB silver 6 plus. No movement at all and its "supposed" to ship tomorrow

I ordered two 6 pluses 64GB, both online through AT&T.

Order 1: Space Gray, ordered 9/20, est ship window 10/29 - 11/7.

Status: Preparing to ship. This is the last day of my shipping window estimate and it has been 7 weeks.

Order 2: Silver, UNLOCKED, ordered 10/7, est ship window 11/14 -11/25.

Status: Preparing to ship. I am 8 days away from my shipping window and it has been 4 weeks.

This entire process has been exhausting and I am totally turned off by the lack of communication with both phones AND by Apple's handling of this from the beginning. Is it a great phone?... Sure. Has it been worth this wait time... absolutely NOT. I can't think of anything I've ordered in the last 10 years that has taken 7 weeks+ to get a shipment statement. Once I get it, I will hold on to it for a very long time or I'll switch over to Samsung and perhaps another carrier when time to upgrade. I've been with AT&T/Cingular for 17 years. Completely and utterly turned off by this nonsense and am embarrassed that I participated in it all. Never, ever again. Never.
