How to unlock a phone that was reported stolen or lost????
I’ve been sitting on the phone day after day trying to get someone from AT&T to help me but to no avail!!! I’m so sick of this company I will literally never use them again!
I lost my phone and reported it stolen or lost. Now it’s found and I want to unlock it! I paid the balance of the phone in full and tried to unlock through the website but it will not allow me saying it’s been reported list or stolen! I called At&t and they told me to call asurion saying it’s through them! I called them and they said they have nothing to do with it at all and only At&t can solve it!!! I’m so so lick of this! I’m across the globe calling day and night and can’t get anywhere! I need a SOLUTION!!!!

If you lost the phone and got an insurance replacement from assurion then you get get it unlocked ever. Assurion is now the rightful owner. Same as if your car is stolen and insurance pays for a new car. When the car is found the insurance company owns your old stolen car.

Did you get a replacement phone through Asurion, or contact Asurion to report the phone lost or stolen?

Lost or stolen phones will never be unlocked especially if it has been replaced by insurance.
If it was not replaced by insurance then the person that filed the lost or stolen report would have to file that the phone was found. Then it can be removed from the blacklist and my be able to be unlocked.

@nhalatatca Unless you’re the one who reported it stolen and had it blacklisted, you can’t remove it. Only that person can, and based on your other posts here, you’re not that person. The person who reported it stolen would have to contact AT&T and report it found. I’m sure they will ask for verification that the person calling is the same one who reported it in the first place. If the phone was replaced under insurance, then the original phone is owned by the insurance company, and they won’t remove it from the blacklist.
