Fraudulent AT&T Sales department

We encountered a sales fraud with AT&T. AT&T online salesperson gave us a deal to port our five numbers from Verizon to AT&T and promised that we would get five new iPhone 15Pro with a trade-in of 3 iPhone 11, one iPhone SE, and 1 iPhone 7 Plus for no cost (This was informed to the salesperson at the beginning). She said it is a deal for only new customers. Hence, we qualify for it. After porting the numbers, AT&T says we will not get the free phone, but we must pay a hefty amount for the iPhone 15 Pro. This is an entirely unethical and fraudulent sales deal. I never expected such fraud from AT&T. We have the sales invoices from AT&T to prove that the agreement was for a free phone. The initial sales invoice also says we are getting a $ 1,000 credit for each line for the trade-in. Now, we are stuck with AT&T as we ported from Verizon to AT&T.

@my thoughts Thanks for the post, but if you carefully read my post, it is a complaint regarding a false sales promise by an AT&T salesperson. I do not want to know what AT&T is offering.

You would only have gotten $830 for each iPhone 11, $350 for the iPhone SE, and nothing for the iPhone 7, so there is no way you would have gotten 15 free iPhone Pros.  Considering that the cheapest 15 Pro is $999, you would have a balance due on every one of the 5 phones.

Really, your best bet is to file a BBB complaint.  That will get it escalated pretty quickly to higher management.
