ERROR when trying to unclock Phone
I am trying to unlock my fully paid off iPhone X and the systems is saying that my EMEI number is not associated with ATT. This is extremely frustrating being that the phone is paid off and I should be able to unlock it no problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, @Aciuccoli,
Let's take a look at the message telling you the device isn't associated with AT&T you received when you tried to unlock your iPhone X. That message is usually received when the phone isn't on our network. Is AT&T the most recent carrier for the phone? If not, the carrier would have to be the one to unlock it from their service.
Take a look at Things to Know When Unlocking a Device Through AT&T. It lists the requirements to having a device unlocked. Among other things, if it was on a prepaid plan, it will have to have used AT&T as a carrier for six months and, on a postpaid plan, it will have had to use AT&T as the carrier for sixty days.
If the iPhone meets all the requirements and the message is in error, please let us know.

The phone is on att. There is no reason I should be setting that message. I’m getting really frustrated with this.
