Data not working when I have full bars of 5G

Out of nowhere, my cellular data stopped loading anything despite “5g” being in the corner with full bars. I can, however, send iMessages and whatsapp messages but that’s it. I’ve tried powering off my phone, resetting the E-sim (twice) in the store, nothing is working. I tried even upgraded my data plan (I’ve been with AT&T for months and use the same amount of data I always do, never experiencing this issue). My phone is basically useless without wifi which is only available in my home. I’ve read other people say they’ve had the same issue but the solutions aren’t working for me. Please help this phone is useless.

Call advanced tech support and ask for your device/service to be reprovisioned.

Sometimes it helps to turn data roaming on in the settings as well.

You can look up Domain Name Servers (DNS) and what they do, but it’s usually for connecting to Internet addresses when using a browser like Safari.  If you cell data isn’t working at all, it’s very unlikely that it’s a DNS problem, and I’m not even sure how you can opt out of using AT&T’s servers.  A DNS issue would be affecting a lot of people at the same time.
