Carrier Unlock
Hi I bought an iPhone 12 online for my ddaughter, it was said to have been in great condition and carrier unlocked. Which was was lie because my daughter tried to out her sim in and it wouldn’t let her activate it cause the sim wasn’t supported my the provider, at first we didn’t know who the originally company was but kids now days have ways of figuring that out and the IMEI # came up under at&ts network.
is there anyway this can be fixed I spent $350 on something that will only do half the job I need it to do and my daughter won’t stop asking me about it

To request an unlock, use the unlock portal:
https://att.com/deviceunlock
ATT will gladly unlock if the requirements to unlock have been met. However, don’t be surprised if your request is denied. If the seller lied about the phone being unlocked, it’s probably not paid for or has some other issue that will prevent unlocking. That’s the risk of buying phones second hand.
