Can't connect to minecraft when tethered to AT&T hotspot iphone 8 or galaxy s10
I live in the middle of nowhere and we usually have satellite internet. Lately we have found that we cannot use our cell phone tethering plan to play minecraft.
This used to work fine. I also used to have an issue when attempting to use the hotspot to ssh into work servers over port 22, and that randomly was fixed.
The current minecraft server is being hosted on port 25565, so I'm wondering if that port is being blocked.
I can likely change the port, just did not expect this to be a thing I'd have to deal with, and would like to know if anyone else has seen it/fixed it. Multiple computers and devices are having this issue.
Also, lately when we are tethering to our hotspot, it drops off and on way more frequently than it used to.

Hi @kaylamc,
Thank you for reaching out. We'd love to take a closer look.
We are curious to know if the difficulty using your phone tethering happens only when you play minecraft or it affects other games/applications. Also when exactly did this start and what error message do you get when you try to connect. We'd like to also know where exactly you are located so we can check the towers near you.
Please reach back so we can assist further.
