Can I buy an iPhone 6 plus without any credit history?

If you are starting a new line of service, we do a credit check, however if you’re just upgrading to the iPhone6 plus on an existing account we will not do the credit check. Also if you do not have an account with us and just want to purchase the phone, you can do so at retail cost with no credit check.

You can start a line with AT&T without a credit history, but will most likely require a deposit of up to $1000.

Without credit history, you are probably better to start with a gophone plan as a deposit is not required and you can use the 6 as a gophone.

GoPhone is prepaid and there are packages for $60, $45 for smartphones.
postpaid would mean opening a mobile share plan

Either way, you need credit to get the iPhone 6.
