Can 1 iPhone receive calls and texts from 2 different phone numbers
I have an AT&T account and I’m wanting to know if it is possible to have two phone numbers on 1 iPhone? Is this possible? Receiving calls and texts having 2 separate phone numbers on 1 iPhone.

Yes. You need a phone that has 2 sims, which newer phones since the X have. Dual sim iPhones have one physical sim and an esim. You have a number activated on each sim and of course, you pay for each line.

If you are going to use 2 different carriers the iPhone has to be unlocked.

Hello @Timbolean,
Both ACE's are correct.
The iPhone 11Pro Max is a dual SIM capable device.
The device does need to be unlocked if it'll be used with more than one carrier.
Both the eSIM and SIM will have their own telephone number and rate plan.
If you have additional questions just reach out and let us know.

@paulgotel If ypu have an iPhone Xs or later and IOS 15.X you can convert to an eSIM yourself. Link below from Apple has instructions. I did this when IOS 15.0 came out with my Xs.
