Calls & texts for previous owner of number

I have had this number for more than 3 years now and I keep getting calls & texts for who I believe was the previous owner of my number, except for when she had it, it was a 530 area code and mine is a 775 area code.  I know she got a new phone and number around the same time I got my new phone and number because I had a heated discussion with her ex as to why he was calling me and he said "Oh yea I forgot she got a new number" and then hung up.

Does anyone know how to fix this?  After this many years she gets more calls and texts than I do!
