AT&T saying they did not receive my device

Wife upgraded her iPhone to 14 pro. She sent the old phone back to AT&T in the box with the prepaid label attached. Problem is that she didn't take a picture. Now AT&T is trying to charge me for the balance on the phone that I no longer possess. I did the same thing with my phone and took a picture but of course, that phone was said to have been received.

Anyone have any ideas, or am I screwed?

You can check the receipt from USPS. It will have the tracking information on the receipt. If so reach back out so we can investigate. If you don't have the tracking information we will not be able to assist you.

Thanks for the response. We were able to reach a support person that found out the phone was sent to the wrong address. All is taken care of.
