ATT Contract pending issue with Walmart.com order

I have bought a phone during Thanksgiving(11/24/2021) using Walmart.com (where I provided my ATT number and zip code for verification) and got the phone on 11/27. I received my new ATT sim from Walmart for activation. I activated it on first week of December. 

Contract pending in ATT for almost a month. When I reached to ATT, they said that we haven't received the information of contract from Walmart. When I contacted Walmart, they said they have not got my activation information from ATT. 

I have been having ATT and Walmart customer care almost 10 to 15 times in this month and haven't received any response yet. I traded in my phone for Bill credits and posted only the trade-in value instead of 36 months of Bill credit. I have been ATT customer care for almost 8 years and frustrated with things happening.  

ATT has all the information about my phone and SIM details and not sure what is pending yet.

I am having the same problem with a phone purchased from Walmart on 11/22/2021. AT&T tells me Walmart has to fix it. Nobody at Walmart knows how to fix it. Contract still stuck at Pending for well over a month. If there is someone out there who can actually solve this problem, I would love to know how to reach them.

I am having a similar issue with my phone as well. I bought the phone through Walmart on ATT installment plan but the contract is still pending after 3 weeks. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Because this involves your private information, an account specific information you will not see a public answer other than, "...can we speak to you privately..." from AT&T. 

If you need help to jumpstart the process, file a Better Business Bureau complaint online. The complaint is forwarded back to AT&T upper management within a few hours, and you should get a response from AT&T within a couple of business days.

I am having the same issue, spent more than 2.5 hours on chat with att rep, 2 supervisors. They all directing me to Walmart. I have 4 phone lines 🙁. @ATTHelp please resolve

Sounds like Walmart was acting as an AT&T Reseller. So if the order was messed up then it's probably up to Walmart to correct whatever the issue was because they sold the service to you, not AT&T.

I'd file a complaint with the BBB and check the AT&T website to see if the deal or promo is even listed.
