Unlock Galaxy Express 3 with out sim card
Hello, i have a Galaxy Experss 3 phone and I just got the unlock code today same day I requested the code, I don't have a sim card but I am trying to unlock it with out a sim card, I made 2 attempts, I only have 3 more attempts left. My question is, Do I need to have a sim card to unlock the phone? I've seen videos and articals where a sim card is not needed. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you Tim Horton , I tried that same code 2 times, it prompted me to use the unlock code but it didn't work with out the sim card, I have 3 more tries, I'll wait when I get the sim card next week, thank you for your responds, I appreciate it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Express 3 J120A cell phone that I bought many years back at an AT&T store. I used it with an AT&T Pay As You Go plan. A few years ago I then bought a newer model Samsung cell & transfered my AT&T account over to the new cell & the AT&T rep also put a new SIM card in the new phone & transferred my number to the new SIM. I have since unlocked my newer cell & ported my AT&T number to a new provider. Because I had planned on never using the old Galaxy Express I removed & threw out the SIM.
My question is can I now unlock my old Samsung Galaxy 3 cell without having an account with AT&T & without the cell having a SIM card? Thanks

Even though you're no longer with AT&T, it's possible to submit a device unlock request for your phone online. After visiting our device unlock portal simply select non-AT&T customer.
