Unable to unlock my Motorola/At&T phone while out of Country

Keep in mind the following requirements to ensure your device is eligible for Unlock.

• Is an AT&T phone or device and isn’t active on another AT&T account.
• Was paid in full when you bought it (not on an installment plan). You won’t have to wait 60 days to unlock it.
• Has a paid-off installment plan.
  • Paid through your monthly bill: Submit your unlock request at the start of your next bill period.
  • Paid off early: The wireless number assigned to the device must be active for at least 60 days. Wait 48 hours after you make your final payment to submit your unlock request.
• Doesn’t have a past-due account balance. Make a payment to bring your account current. It will take 24 hours for your payment to post. 
• Hasn’t been reported as lost, stolen, or involved with fraud.
• Is an AT&T PREPAID phone that has had paid service for at least six months.

Let's share the steps required to unlock your Motorola device, Pnwosu2468!

AT&T devices need to be unlocked to use another carrier's prepaid SIM. Device unlock requests have to be submitted through the device unlock portal while connected to the AT&T network. When submitting your request, you must make sure you meet the device unlock guidelines. You can view the requirements and find more guidance on how to unlock your device here in the Forums.

I have done all that and checked the procedure to unlock the phone but none is working and there is an app on the phone but it keeps telling me unable to unlock. Please what else can I do

Why will you advise to sell it? There is even an At&T sim in the phone but there is no network here in Nigeria. What can I do

nothing if its a ATT prepaid phone and not used for 6 months in the USA then they will not unlock it.   You can pay a 3rd party site to unlock it if you can find one.

In addition to our ACE response, if you're able to access the device unlock portal and submit your request but aren't receiving approval due to an error code, we need to further assist by accessing the account the device is associated to. In order for us to further assist you with unlocking your device you need to be located within the United States otherwise we can't apply further research. Thank you for the update and I really appreciate it alot,but am presently in Nigeria and I have tried the unlock app on the phone and also the online unlock ways but I keep receiving responses that It is denied and can not be unlocked. Please which third party can you advise for me to see here in Nigeria to help do the unlocking
