RCS not working for all people since getting S22

Since getting my new S22, RCS no longer works with my wife.  We are both on AT&T branded Samsung phones and using Google Messages.  We both have chat features enabled.  The only difference is that mine says it's "powered by AT&T" while hers says "powered by Jibe Mobile".  Does AT&T's RCS seriously not interact with Jibe Mobile RCS?  Furthermore, why wouldn't there be consistency within AT&T on this?  They are both AT&T phones purchased through AT&T and used on the AT&T network.

Rcs is absolute garbage now. Constantly not sending text constantly having to switch to sms.

No posts on this for a while. Has this been completely fixed and AT&T has rolled out Universal Profile to its RCS implementations?

I read elsewhere that the Galaxy S23 uses Google Jibe even on AT&T-branded devices. Can anyone confirm?

Att is trash when it comes to RCS! I've had it then it's back out again! I will never buy a Samsung phone through att again

They have not fixed this on S22. Verified it works with T-Mobile sim and DOES NOT with AT&T sim. Definitely an AT&T issue.

RCS Chats works on my husband's phone but not mine.  We have S22+ with the same settings.  Did a factory reset per Samsung and it still doesn't work.  AT&T doesn't have a clue what to do.

With the recent announcement that AT&T will be switching to jibe it was mentioned for new phones will they be pushing an update to get the s22 line on jibe as well or is that just wishful thinking?

I cannot believe it's been two years since this post and this issue still hasn't been fixed outside of jailbreaking.

My frustration two years ago was warranted.

The best thing to do would be to switch carriers like we did.  Everything is working fine now that we switched from AT&T.  New carrier and new phones.

I'm switching as soon as my contract is over. I regret ever coming to AT&T
