RCS not working for all people since getting S22
Since getting my new S22, RCS no longer works with my wife. We are both on AT&T branded Samsung phones and using Google Messages. We both have chat features enabled. The only difference is that mine says it's "powered by AT&T" while hers says "powered by Jibe Mobile". Does AT&T's RCS seriously not interact with Jibe Mobile RCS? Furthermore, why wouldn't there be consistency within AT&T on this? They are both AT&T phones purchased through AT&T and used on the AT&T network.

@ATTHelp
What work around? Did you even read his message? It isn't working because AT&T broke it. Man, y'all really out here trying to make customers leave because of this incompetence.

You didn't even put an update in there except to check for updates!?!?
It's not improved, it literally broke it. That's why we're here. But I'm glad you finally noticed that we're affected.

Just know we're the first people to have gotten the devices in the US and it took us several days of troubleshooting to figure this out. Wait until hundreds of thousands of people begin calling next week about this issue.
AT&T, this isn't going away. A concrete response to this with a timeline of fixes is necessary.

Literally same thing happened to me and my wife as well. Same account I have a note 20 ultra she just got an s22 ultra both of us can use rcs txts to other people but won't work between the two of us, it's very annoying.... Did two tech calls today no help. Only thing I can tell is a difference is our APN's are different she's running eui 4.1 to my 4.0 and in Google messages hers says chat features enabled by ATT where mine says enabled by jibe. Would like a fix this is stupid.

I just got my s22 ultra. Can confirm the RCS is not working. I have installed and updated carrier services. I have installed updates for the messages app. I have tried the BETA. I have gone through Google troubleshooting and cleared cache and other methods to fix. It tells me chat features are enabled, but still only sends via SMS.
You want to know why people root their phones? It's bc ATT is inept. Neglegent even, when it comes to preloading software. You guys (Edited per community guidelines).

My wife got her S22 ultra in the mail today. Got it set up and AFTER EVERYTHING, RCS between us isn't working but is with everyone else. We both have S22 Ultras, both on AT&T, both using the same app.
Google released a statement today that the profiles should be universal, but they aren't.
