Smart Network Switch when enabled will automatically toggle between your WiFi connection and cellular data depending on signal strength. One reason you may wish to disable Smart Network Switch may be that your WiFi connection is being dropped in favor of a stronger cellular data signal. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the Apps icon on the home screen
  2. Tap the Settings app icon
  3. Choose WiFi
  4. Tap Smart network switch to toggle on or off. On some devices, you may need to go to Menu > Advanced > Auto network switch from the WiFi settings screen.

And that’s how we can turn Smart Network Switch on or off!
