Mobile Network is Unavailable

I have an LT G7+ ThinQ.  I did an update to the phone's software as hoping to improve the speed, but no improvement was made.  I googled for help and followed the instructions to force stop all Apps.  Every since then I can no longer make outgoing and receive incoming calls.  Also, I tried to check voice messages and it is not working, I get a message "Mobile network is unavailable" after few minutes.  Please help as I have not been able to make and receive any calls for two days.  Thanks!

Did you try restarting your phone after you force stopped all your apps?  Indiscriminately stopping all your background apps can have unpredictable effects, but restarting the phone should restart these apps.

What is the exact model number of that phone.  If its not ATT branded it may not be on the allowed list.
