Marshmallow Software Update for ZTE Z958

My ZTE Z958 phone, which is currently running Android Lollipop 5.1, has been having issues with several Google applications recently. The only advice I have been given, from several experts, is to update my software. Unfortunately, the "AT&T Software Update" function which is built-in to my settings application, shows the message, "Software is currently up to date." This is frustrating because Android 8.0 has been released, and my device is still three generations behind. Please help me to fix this issue. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Forums. Keeping our devices up to date with current software is essential to getting the most out of our smartphones. Not to worry, I am here to help!

 

All software updates are released to customers in batches by IMEI number. Here is a helpful article which lists what the current requirements are to update your ZTE to 6.0.1.

 

There is a section titled Getting started which expands; this section will give instructions how to update your build number if needed. Before updating your device, you will want to perform a full backup and restore. Here is a helpful tutorial on how to do this.

Hello! Thnks you for the links, however, when I click on them, it asks for
an employee username and password. Unfortunately, I am not an ATT employee.
Is there a link I could get which is accessible to customers?

buenos dias amigos de la comunidad en mi caso necesito el firmware completo ya que mi equipo no pasa el logo de at&t ya probado con factory reset y nada aun y en su enlace no me deja hacer la descarga correspondiente no aparece para descargar
