Loaner or THE LACK OF!! :(

I have a Samsung A6 that has been giving me problems. Today, I have visited a store, been on hold for 3+ hours only to be told, loaners DO NOT EXIST! I went to the store and was told to contact customer service and they would send me the loaner, A LIE!! Call customer service and was told to go back to the store so I ask for the number to the president, because this is so upsetting to get the run around on a defective phone that ATT sold to me!!! Finally, I get to speak to a Lyssa in the Philippines and she tells me the truth, loaner phones do not exist and that I would need to buy another phone and get a new line. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AT ALL. ATT IS ABOUT TO MAKE ME CONTACT MY (Edited per community guidelines) AND START A (Edited per community guidelines) (Edited per community guidelines). WHO ALL IS ON BOARD!! DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE IS NOT A PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE CHARGED TO THE CUSTOMER!!!

you are limited to binding arbitration. There are no loaner phones.

I don't see why you would need a new line. You should be able to move your current SIM card to another phone.

There are no loaners, you would need to buy a new phone, but you could get something cheap. It's always good to have a backup around.

How did I miss this one last month. I don't know of any cell carrier that loans phones. If you have a defective phone that is within the warranty, you can contact AT&T oh, they will ship you a warranty replacement, and then you ship back the defective phone.
After the one-year warranty expires you are on your own to purchase your own replacement. AT&T does not make phones, and they are not responsible for them once they leave the store with you

Not offered this in the store nor online so that isn't/hasn't been an option for me!! ATT doesn't offer loaners nor a phone to use while yours is in repair. Told to buy a new phone and hope my repair is back within the 14 days that I would be allowed to return the new one. New line I would have to pay but they would possibly waive my restock fee. Not worth it and looking for a better carrier!
ATT is not for me!!

I do not know of any carrier that offers you a loaner phone.
No carrier is responsible for your broken or defective phone. I don't quite understand why you think this is AT&T is problem or fault.

Not offered by my ATT. Options are to buy another one and hope it's returned by the 14 days. They offered to waive the restock fee but I would have to pay for the new line. Not worth the hassle because the issue began with the defective phone they sold me. I am looking to get another carrier and be done with ATT.

you can purchase a 29 dollar prepaid phone and put your sim in it to use until yours comes back, then you have a 29 dollar spare if anything happens to your phone again, they will ship or you can do front door pickup

@MsPris No carrier does loaner phones. This is 2020 not 2005. All carriers dumped loaner phones. I have no idea what you expected actually. The a6 was released in May of 2018 I would be surprised if you had any warranty left anyway.

If I remember the A6 was a bargain phone.
After two years of course it broke down, the battery's probably dead

The A6 was about a $250 lower of the mid-range type phone. It would be equivalent to the Samsung A50, which sells for around 300 to 350 now.
Hardly flagship, but not a prepaid cheapo either.
