LG G8X Thinq won't update to android 10

My LG G8X Thinq from AT&T current software is android 9 and I'm trying to update it to android 10 but I can't update it

  • Is this a branded AT&T device or an unlocked device purchased from a 3rd party seller? This will tell us if the device is eligible for AT&T Network.
  • What is the make and model of the device? Tap About Phone or About Device to view the model name and number

My model number is LM-G850UM. I bought it off eBay labeled as AT&T locked

Since your device model is compatible with the AT&T network, we want to confirm any error messages you're receiving when attempting to update your software. 

 

  • Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Swipe down from the Notification bar and select Settings.
  • Scroll to and select System, then About Phone.
  • Select Software update, then Update now.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
  • The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

In the meantime, we'd suggest for you find ways to troubleshoot & resolve to fix software update issues.

Ive had the reach around on this from LG, AT&T and cricket with no resolve to fix this issue at all I have a AT&T branded lg G8X thinq but using Crickets service which is AT&T and this is a useable phone on crickets service and no updates are pushing its also on stock firmware 9.0 from september 2019 and I followed what the tech last night told me to do and still not getting updates at all then I talked to another AT&T agent literally 2 hrs ago and got a supervisor and they both told me since your service is with cricket they will have the update for you even though the this model cricket never sold I chatted with cricket that had no idea what I was talking about
