hello everyone...I really want to get the Huawei Mediapad X2, but I don't know if it'll work on AT&T on their 4G LTE. Could someone please help me by answering this question.
yeah, sorry, no 4gLTE on AT&T. I have this phone and it works just fine but will only get the H+. doesn't see to bother me though.. movies play okay and I'm not too demanding for download speeds... Im really curious if there are any plans to release a newer version that has the correct LTE bands or if there's any possibility of an update that would fix this? is the incorrect band thing a hardware issue that cannot be fixed by any sort of software or firmware update? sorry if that's a dumb question... never dealt with unlocked phones or apn setting before.
I have this phone, but I just can't get it to work properly on AT&T. Phone works, but data and texting are just miserable. I used the Honor X2 previously, and it worked perfectly. I had to use Google Messenger for texting, but it worked. The Medipad X2 just refuses to let me text properly....even with Google Messenger. Any tips or advice? Thanks.
Hey, lizdance40. Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, I've attempted this twice over the past few weeks, and nada. 😞 Thanks for the link, though. I haven't had the settings laid out in front of me like that. I've always screenshot my working AT&T phone and used that. I'll give it another go now that I have this link. Thanks.
Thanks for replying, GLIMMERMAN76. Well, I I used the lower sim tray like I did in my Honor X2. I never thought that I might be using the wrong sim tray. I'll check to see which sim I should use. Thank you.
Edit: It seems that I was using the correct sim card slot.
Just a thought. I recently read that AT&T was dropping 2G support. Will this make the X2 even less useable?

@scienceguylabs
the bad thing is yes you will lose some of the luster of the phone without the 2g network.
