Hello @MJChester, we want to look into your concerns regarding Wi-Fi calling being enabled on your Samsung Ultra 22 device.
Please be advised, this device may not be compatible with Wi-Fi calling since it's not listed on our Wi-Fi Calling compatibility list. Feel free to review our list to confirm all devices that allows this feature.
We hope this helps and thanks for contacting the AT&T Community for help.

If you purchased the phone from AT&T oh, of course it is compatible with AT&T Wi-Fi calling. Whatever the reason there's a problem it is not the model of phone that AT&T provided. It could be a botched update by Samsung.
Or it could be that you're e- 911 address cannot be verified?
Or it could be that you are already out of the United States and cannot enable Wi-Fi calling?
More information might help

It should be asking you for an e911 address when you try to turn Wi-Fi calling on.
Has it ever worked?
Was this phone replaced by insurance or warranty? New?

Hello @MJChester, we want to help you with your WiFi calling.
If you haven't already, we recommend the following steps to enable Wi-Fi Calling on your device:
For Android: Wi-Fi Calling is located in Settings, Call Settings, and Quick Start menu, and is enabled from any of these locations.
For iPhone: Go to the Settings menu on compatible device, click Phone Settings, and set up Wi-Fi Calling.
Customers are asked to provide an address for E911 emergency call routing. No additional software or apps are needed.
Find out more at Stay Connected with Wi-Fi Calling.
We hope this info helps!

No it does not help. As I wrote, the WiFi calling button will not stay to the on position.

You'll have to contact AT&T directly and make sure that your line is correctly provisioned, and correct IMEI. I don't know if you had a previous phone on that line, either an iPhone, or a phone not capable of Wi-Fi calling, I'm just guessing as there is no reason a new, un-refurbished At&t phone won't work as designed.

Thank you for reaching back out with a update @MJChester.
If the Wi-Fi button does not stay on or is grayed out this may indicate that the device is not compatible for the Wi-Fi feature. Check out our list of compatible Wi-Fi devices and verify the make and model allows for this feature.
You can update the E911 address at any time in the Wi-Fi Calling menu on your cell phone. For additional troubleshooting steps we encourage you to reach out to the device manufacture. We're here if you have any questions. Thank you for visiting AT&T Community Forums.
