How do I get rid of useless apps I don't use but are stuck on my phone
My phone has been having storage issues lately and I'm trying do free up some storage and there are all these useless apps I don't use like the direct TV app or Facebook that take up a total collective of 7.4 GB of storage out of 16 GB that comes pre installed on the phone I can't Un install them
how do I get rid of them/Uninstall them?

It won't matter.
Android phones come with a user partition which limits the amount of storage that is available to you. Even if you delete built-in apps on the phone it is not going to expand the user partition.
A 16gb phone is just not enough storage when nearly half of it is taken up with operating system..
If your phone allows the use of an SD card, that is how you expand your storage.

Gee, it would help if you told us what phone you are using. Each manufacturer's phones are different.
