Will I be able to activate the sim card under my current prepaid account plan and keep my phone number?
I have an AT&T prepaid plan and was using an unlocked moto x4 with my sim card. Well, last night I wasn't able to turn on my phone, seem to be completely damaged, doesn't turn on or charge. So I take out the sim card and put it in my old Samsung Galaxy Express J337A, which was the phone that originally came with this sim card. Problem is that I turn on the phone with the sim card inserted and it says there is no sim card. Its been about a year and a half since I used it, but I guess the sim card must be damaged. So I ordered an AT&T prepaid sim cart kit and an unlocked SAMSUNG Galaxy A10S A107M. My question is will I be able to activate the sim card under my current prepaid account plan and keep my phone number?

Hey there @franap9291!
Once you have an AT&T SIM and have activated the AT&T SIM card, you can put it in any compatible, unlocked device you choose. To activate your new AT&T PREPAID SIM card on your new device simply follow the steps presented here.
We hope this info helps.

I already have an prepaid account, so could I go into my account under my device, go to update device and put in the new sim card number there? Will that then activate the sim card and allow me to use the same phone number with the new phone?
