Your phone will have no service in Germany unless you pay the $35 add-on which is good for one week and allows you 5 GB of data. Wi-Fi calling will work just fine without the add-on.

These countries do not permit Wi-Fi calling:
China, Saudi Arabia, India, Turkey, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Pakistan, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

Yes, you can use Wi-Fi calling on prepaid. It has to be a $25.00 plan or higher.
