If the SIM card is unreadable, and therefore cannot receive two-factor authentication text, and you cannot prove that the prepaid account belongs to you.

If the account doesn't have your name and identifying information attached to it, you will not be able to recover it

If you can prove the account belongs to you, and AT&T store will be able to make a new SIM card for your existing account and phone number and then you can provide or purchase a new compatible phone
