Porting my number to a new phone/carrier
I bought a new phone and it’s through Verizon. It’s locked through Verizon. So I asked to port my number but AT&T said I had to reactivate the phone and then I can transfer the number. I activated the phone through their calling service and they charge me twice for the $30 plan (Ive tried calling to get a refund on the over charge and there’s a $0 balance and it says in the payment records that they charged me twice). it’s been nearly a month now and I want to port my phone number, now that I’ve used nearly my entire month my $30-60 worth. HOWEVER, whenever I call the *7678 number from that phone or call AT&T support, they hang up or they say that they can’t port my number. The plan on my phone expires tomorrow and I don’t want to have to pay for another month, just to port my number over. Any solutions?

Prepaid service does not get a port pin. You use your 4 digit security code.
But you do have to call AT&T for your prepaid account number
