Port Out Of ATT - Prepaid Customer

Call *PORT - Called and it says I can't receive texts although ATT sends me texts on this phone. LOL
With the app and online none of the options show up, the instructions are completely invalid.
It almost seems like ATT is making this process purposely difficult. Can anyone help?
