My att samsung s20 Ultra Hotspot isn't connecting. Worked fine day one and now nothing.
I have a unlimited prepaid plan with att. I added 5gs of Hotspot to my plan 3days ago. The first day worked great. Now when I try to connect a device it says connected with no internet. I have a perfect 5g signal on my main phone....the internet is working fine. But not my Hotspot. I have reset the network connections and restarted the phone. It works for less than 5 minutes and then disconnects. I have plenty of Hotspot data because I can't use it. So I am no where near the limit. Basically I am paying for a service that's not working.

Hi there, Brandilee! Let's get your Hotspot connected again now that you've purchased an Add-On for your AT&T PREPAID Unlimited Plan.
Since you've restarted the phone make sure to restart the device or devices that you want to connect to the phone. Restarting all devices is usually the first step to resolving unexpected connectivity trends.
This action helps reestablish a connection between all devices involved. "Connected with no internet" usually means that you have poor network coverage such as one bar of signal, or that the cellular connection speed is slow.
You will find similar details under No Connection/ Slow Speed when you visit Mobile HotSpot Low/ Weak Signal - Solutions from the AT&T Community Team.
Also, if your experience persists despite the first steps, you will want to switch Airplane Mode on then off on your Samsung Galaxy S20, then test the results.
Believe it or not, some of our users have reported success when applying this method. If multiple devices are connected, then remove all but one device to see if you're able to maintain a successful constant connection.
You will want to add your other devices if the first device is capable of sustaining its connection to your phone's Hotspot. Be careful not to exceed the recommended quantity of 10 Wi-Fi devices.
Try this and let us know how it goes. We want to make sure you're enjoying the Hotspot that you just applied to your account.
