How can I suspend my account for 4 months?

We can definitely provide you with some more information on this.

You won't be able to suspend your AT&T PREPAID service. We only recommend suspending service and blocking your device if your AT&T PREPAID cell phone is lost or stolen.

Since that isn't the case for you, we just recommend discontinuing any payments that you would normally make for your AT&T PREPAID account and following the steps at this link to Remove AutoPay if you currently have it set up to make automatic payments.

Please keep in mind that if you stop paying (refilling) your AT&T PREPAID balance, we'll automatically cancel your service 60 days after your current account balance expiration date.

Unfortunately, once your account is cancelled, we can't guarantee the availability of your same wireless number if your service is resumed in the future.

However, you can absolutely Contact us when you're ready to resume your AT&T PREPAID service, to see if your current phone number is still available.
