Changed iPad from prepaid to postpaid. Getting billed for both

To change iPad from prepaid to post paid in order to add add intErnational data I was told to go to an ATT store. Did that, they put new SIM card in with new phone number and put it on my iPhone bill. , now I’m getting billed for both. The new sim is billed on my iPhone bill and I’m still getting the old number billed on my credit card. When I call , they say they have no record of my old number.

How do I cancel the old one?

In the meantime, you’ll be able to view and pay your bill online for approximately 90 days after you cancel services. Learn how to view you your current or previous AT&T bills online.

The final bill may include:
- Any final Monthly Recurring Charges for the period yet to be billed
- Any voice and data usage not yet reported and covered by plans or services
- Any outstanding AT&T Installment Plan charges
- Any applicable one-time fees (for example, ETF)
Roaming and usage charges can take 30-90 days to appear depending on other carriers reporting off-network usage.
Customers with a cancelled account registered on myAT&T can continue to view their account online until the time all wireless numbers are recycled (approximately 59 days).
