Can't cancel my prepaid account from abroad

Due to COVID-19, I've been displaced from the US and have had to return to Brazil on short notice. I'm not able to cancel my autopay because I cant' log in to ATT, and when I request a new password I don't receive the message because I don't have a signal connection on the ATT chip in Brazil. I've already been charged twice for a chip I cannot use anymore and would like a full cancellation (and refund for the months I've lost that have been out of my control).

To stop autopay, your only options if you can’t access your account are to call or cancel the card used for autopay. ATT generally does not refund but the only way to get one is to call. If you call, call the international support number but be aware hold times are excessive.

you will not get a refund they don’t refund prepaid. Your only option is to cancel the credit card associated with the account payment
