Cannot activate card
I cannot activate card xxxx xxxx xxxx 1786, with amount of $7.49.
I have tried website login.northlane.com/activate, entered 16 digit card #, 3 digit security code and 5 digit zip code, never works.
I called 1-800-225-1115, entered number correctly 3 times, all failed.
Is this a scam?

Would help if you identify what kind of card you are talking about. With that amount, I’m fairly certain it’s not a card for prepaid phone service.

Amount is only 7.49 and won't expire until 12/21 - may not be activated by then.

I am frustrated, having spent way too much time and effort, with no way to talk to anyone.

I have not found a way to contact North Lane so far. There is very little contact information on the activation screen. Calling the 800 number on the back just asks for same activation info, which fails. On Friday, at 9:08 AM I sent an email to help@northlane.com, but no response so far. It would have been easier for AT&T to issue me a check. Which one of the options from North Lane, once the card is activated. A catch-22.

Unable to activate 4 MasterCards loaded with an AT&T credit refund for total of $112.54 . Unable to login into northland.com/activate, states it doesn't recognize cards, unable to make contact at phone number provided, after 3 attempts to enter card numbers phone disconnects. I reported AT&T to Federal Trade Commission fraud dept. You know AT&T would chase me all around the country if I owed them.

I also ran into the same/similar issues as the original poster above. I received a $15 P&G Visa debit card from BJs Wholesale Club for purchasing $100 worth of P&G products. I received the debit card and a letter with instructions on how to activate the card. I tried many attempst to activate the card, and each time failed, using their website login.northlane.com/activate, entered 16 digit card #, 3 digit security code and 5 digit zip code. I tried calling the customer service number on the back of the card but no one responded. I also sent them two separate emails, they replied to the second and said they had activated the card and that it would expire at the end of 1/2022. I tried using the card at Shaw's and was left feeling embarrassed while I held up the line trying to have several of the tellers resolve my issue, to no avail. I have now tried the login.northlane.com to check my balance and/or confirm the card was actually activated, and it's been of no use. This was a huge hassle and I'm done wasting time with this company. I will just throw the $15 card in the trash, and will not fall for the P&G promotional scams regarding these cards ever again.

I hope you got your money refunded. I tried activating my refund for $87.00 and it failed through the computer. It would not accept my zip code even though it was correct. I finally called the 800 number and it worked. Pretty sad that you pay your bill with cash or check and they send you a refund through a visa debit.
