Wireless Caller displayed instead of phone number
I just upgraded to the unlimited plan. The genius of att now shows “wireless caller” for every non contact incoming call instead of the phone number calling as it always did in the past. How do I turned this ridiculous feature off? I just want to see the phone number of incoming calls. It’s fairly obvious that 99% of the calls today are from a “wireless caller.” It’s behind obnoxious.

No I don’t have the app installed or any other caller id app. I’m not interested in playing trivia. It’s a simple question. How do I turn off “wireless caller” on the caller id. This should not be difficult.

Thanks for letting us know.
If you aren't using a separate application for Caller ID, you're using AT&T Caller ID which is automatically included for all of our unlimited plans.
The "Wireless Caller" that you're seeing when someone calls you should not appear every single time.
For wireless carriers who do not provide name identification, the caller will be displayed as Wireless Caller or the location where the number is registered.
If you would like to see the phone number, you should still be able to tap on the call within your cell phone's call log.
Are you wanting to remove Caller ID from your account completely and no longer see any of the names or locations associated with all callers?
