WI FI Calling and PrePaid?
We had a cell outage in our area, so I tried to enable WI FI Calling and I got (and still get) an error that states that Wi Fi Calling is not able to activate due to our account type. (EDS0002 is the error that appears in parenthesis). I have an iPhone 7S that used to do wi fi calling before we switched to PrePaid. So are PrePaid plans not able to do Wi Fi Calling?

Correct, prepaid does not support wifi calling.

Thanks - we weren't aware of this - even with all the checking we did into the carriers, plans and features. Hopefully they offer that up soon.

dont count on wifi calling on prepaid anytime soon. IF they do it it wont be on iphones that are not sold as prepaid.... ATT is really stupid with these advanced features.

On prepaid not really... ATT hopes it drives people to post paid service.... I know stupid right.... So till they see tons of defections they are not going to change a thing.

Hello At&t Forum:
Whenever i try to enable my wi fi calling, i get the error message: "Provisioning failed, please try again later." Has anyone else received this error message and/or know how to fix this?

As of January 28, 2019 5:30p EST I have HD Voice & WiFi Calling enabled on my AT&T Prepaid plan AT&T Branded iPhone 6S and unlocked non-AT&T iPhone SE. CS said it may take awhile to roll out to all customers but local AT&T store said when a new feature is rolled out it will go to all customers at the same time.
