Visual voicemail not working
Hi I have a question about the visual voicemail app not working on my s21. The last time it worked was around the 14th of this month and since then I have to actually call to hear the actual messages plus the last few messages that I have been left don't even show on the app. Can someone offer assistance?

We are here to get your Visual voicemail app back up and running again Yamicj!
Please power cycle your device to reset your device and reset your network settings to refresh your connection, navigate to Settings>General management>Reset>Reset network settings. Also, ensure that your call forwarding is turned off as it can interfere with your voicemail service.
Confirm your wireless coverage & signal strength, as your phone needs a wireless connection to receive calls, access voicemail, download Visual Voicemail messages. We also recommend updating your device software to the latest version to ensure all apps are running on the latest software version.
Ensure that your 4G LTE cellular data is connected on your device as this is a Visual voicemail requirement. Confirm your Visual voicemail is not disabled by navigating to Settings app>Apps/Application Manager>Select Visual Voicemail. Note: If Visual Voicemail is not present, select Menu or More (in upper right corner), then Show system apps>Visual Voicemail>Enable.
Lastly, we recommend resetting your voicemail password online as this is known to troubleshoot the voicemail feature. Go to my account overview>My wireless>My devices & add-ons>Manage my device>Device options & settings> Reset voicemail password.
Let us know if this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

AT&T said "We're sending you a new phone because 3g is going away". I said keep it! I bought me a new 5g phone. They said 'no problem'. Later they said we're going to activate your new phone, I said NO, they said okay. Then they activated the new phone causing my new phone to stop working. After a trip to the AT&T store to get it straight, now Visual Voicemail doesn't work.
I spent THREE HOURS on the phone with Customer Service........no joy! She said she there's a known bug and she'll open a ticket on the issue so I'll be notified when it's fixed, then the phone got disconnected.
No email or text from her. I searched the MYATT website and cannot find anything about a ticket being opened. Anyone know how to find out? If no, I guess I'll have to call Customer Service again.
Thought I'd try the suggestions above. I removed the app from my phone but cannot find a place to download it again. The only thing I find on the Play Store says "it is not compatible on any of my devices."
One step forward...Two steps backwards... Come on AT&T, Y'all are better than this!

If you're having issues accessing your messages or you're not getting voicemail notifications, start by checking your mobile data connection. The Visual Voicemail Application requires a connection to our cellular data network. Make sure Mobile data is turned on, and you're able to access data with Wi-Fi turned off.

I ran through all of what is described in the ATT Help message above. It worked. My VVM was not working on my phone, only when calling in.

The ATT suggestions above worked, for a day or two, now VVM is not working again.

I'm dealing with the same thing. Had a girl from the tech dept go back and forth with me for over an hour to get this to work to no avail, said a ticket would be put in and I would receive email updates...nothing. This is ridiculous. VVM has worked for me for years.

After 5 months, I am still waiting on my "ticket" to be solved. There's no ticket, who do they think they are fooling? That was just a way to say "I can't fix it so I want to get you off the phone with me so I can move on to something else." I've got practically the most expensive phone they make and it won't do Visual Voice Mail. AT&T should be embarrassed!
