Hello, @Dsdiaz81. Thanks for reaching out to us about your verification codes not coming through to your device. We know how important that is. We can help!

Let's reset your network settings. To do this, go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, choose the option in the middle of this page to Refresh Your Connection.

Let us know if this helps!

Thank you!! I do not have the option Reset network settings within Settings/General...only 'reset iphone' which I think is not the proper option...also tried the refresh your connection option within the ATT link shared, and as soon as I click, it gets blank, doing nothing. any other alternative? Thank you! Daiana

Thanks for your response, @Dsdiaz81.

You'll need to continue by pressing the "Transfer or reset iphone" options. From there, more options will be generated for you to choose from. You'll then select "reset network settings" to proceed further.

Let us know how this helps, and thanks for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums for assistance.

Thanks, I was able to reset the network setting but unfortunately it did not work and now I lost all saved passwords so needing more verification codes :( which I cannot received… I goggled this issue and checked other similar issues in the community and the problem is only “non standard” numbers so when I receive a txt/sms message from for example a number like ‘296877’ instead of a real number, those Im receiving… reason seems to be those numbers were blocked but in my settings I do not have blocked numbers… it could be a blocking from the carrier, in my case ATT… how can we can unblock this? It seems to be a recurring/known issue but not sure the resolution. Thanks

Thanks for letting us know, @Dsdiaz81.

Check out this link about unblocking short code texts on iPhones:

The easiest way is to bring your iPhone into Airplane Mode, wait a couple of seconds and turn off AirPlane Mode. A connection with the nearest cellular tower will be forced and any pending Short Code SMS messages should be delivered!

You also want to make sure Premium Messaging is enabled:

  • Tap Settings > Apps. Swipe to the All tab. Find and tap the Messaging app. Find and tap Permissions > Premium SMS, then tap Always allow.
  • Do a quick test to see if you are receiving any other Short Codes.
    • An easy test is to call *3282# like you're making a call. You should receive a free text message from our short code about your data usage.

Let us know if this helps!

Thanks, it still not working after the air plane mode resetting. I do not have  premium SMS feature, I googled it and it seems it is just for androids? I'm using an iphone. I already checked previous users comments in this community and tried all these actions and the one that it seems it worked for one use was for ATT as carrier to unblock non standard calls, is anyone in ATT able to check this? or if this is something I need to do, how can I do this? Thank you! Daiana

Hi Dsdiaz81! Based on your verification code inquiry, we want to get you in a Direct Message. Check your Direct Message Inbox (it's the chat icon next to  the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums) and reply back.

In the meantime, we recommend texting ''OPT IN'' to the short code number to receive the verification codes again and ensuring your device software is updated to the latest version to get the latest features and device protection options.

We look forward to working with you and reaching a resolution! Again, keep an eye out for our DM!

I am having the same problem with an iPhone 14 Pro. Did you get any resolution to your problem? I have tried the above steps as well and still have not had any success.
