Unlocking phone

I have a prepaid phone that has gotten locked. ATT says there's an app on my phone, can't find one. Submitted a request through the website, to no avail. I'm out of the country and this really (Edited per community guidelines) AT&T

In order that we may provide the best assistance for you, we want to know a little more information.

Is your phone an AT&T device? If your phone is an AT&T device you should see the AT&T logo appear when you power the phone on.
- We can only unlock AT&T phones. If the device was purchased with another carrier then that carrier will have online resources to unlock the phone.
Does the device meet AT&T PREPAID requirements? To unlock an AT&T PREPAID phone it must be have been active on the AT&T network for at least 6 months.
- Here are the other device unlock eligibility requirements that need to be met before the phone can be unlocked.

If the device was purchased from a non-AT&T authorized dealer or site like eBay make sure the seller performs the unlock request.
