Tracfone Caller ID

I have a Tracfone with the wrong caller ID, Tracfone can not help getting this corrected. Since the phone number belongs to ATT I was hoping you may be able to assist me here, I do not want to post my phone number here as I get enough unwanted calls as it is, I will watch this forum for any assistance from ATT.

I do not have either service, I have a tracphone sim, the phone number came from ATT.  Tracfone cant help me even though they sold me the sim with the ATT phone number on it, I was hoping ATT could at least remove their old customers name and set caller ID to wireless caller for the phone number that was sold to tracfone.

I have had the same phone number from TracPhone for many years.  All of a sudden My caller ID name comes up and it's NOT MINE. No one seems to know how to fix this?  Any advise?

Hello @dialabrew48, we can help you shine some light on your caller ID name not showing up.

 

All AT&T wireless voice plans include outgoing Caller ID at no additional charge. But only an AT&T Unlimited Elite or Extra plan lets you always see who’s calling you on incoming calls (when listed). Other carriers’ limitations may affect Caller ID when used while roaming.

  • Their contact info is in your address book
  • You have an AT&T Unlimited Premium, AT&T Unlimited Elite, or AT&T Unlimited Extra plan (don't have one of those plans? You'll just see a phone number.)
  • You have AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security advanced ($3.99 per month)
  • You have another Caller ID app or subscription service
