Spoofers and Scammers
Why won’t this company do anything to help these calls end? I got over 10 today from the SAME COMPANY blocked, and blocked and blocked and blocked they call every hour from a different number. I have over 7000 phone numbers blocked on my phone. I’m paying 160.00 a month for WHAT?!! The report a text is time consuming and annoying. And it does no good. And report a call? I need a form, for 50 numbers, not just one. And they want us to PAY them to effectively stop these asssholes from terrorizing us?? And they sell our information to these scammers as well!! And yes, I am on the do not call registry for over 20 years now. I got my first cell from Cingular at a Wal Mart kiosk. It was the Ericsson world phone. That tells you how long I have been a customer. You’d think after all these years they would have a sense of obligation to do something. Ugh. I’m so over it!! I have had the same Indian guy call me every day for the last -wait for it- 7 YEARS!! Yep. 7 years. The healthcare scams are awful. Those people have no sense of right or wrong. I’ve bought a new phone, and will get a Florida number, I’m sick of having this California number. Basically every number in California is blocked now. We should get a (Edited per community guidelines) going. This company has an obligation to prevent this from happening.

If they're an illegitimate company, what makes you think they'll pay attention to the "Do Not Call" list?
When they call, do not answer. If you do, answer do not press any button on your phone other than disconnect.
My technique: If I do not recognize the number, I don't answer. If they're legit, they'll leave a message.

If you blocked 7000 calls it wasn't through the phone company. If you're using a phone with smart call blocker it must be a good one to block that many calls. Also, with smart call blocker there's other ways to deny calls. The do not call list is controlled by the FCC not the phone companies and if that many spam calls are getting through you must not have digital service as the new laws on spamming don't apply to traditional landlines. So not sure what you're looking for as the phone companies have been working with the FCC to resolve this issue, but as stated they don't currently apply to traditional landlines. Looks to me like you're talking about cell service anyway.
