Nope. Still doesn’t work. My phone still says “hotspot not enabled on this plan” and yet when I go to my account it says it is enabled.

Thank you for providing those details, 254carl.

We want to let you know that on April 13th 2022 DataConnect Pass (Session-Based) data plans are no longer available. While not all of our plans support personal hotspot use or tethering, here are the ones that do.

Check out the details at Make sure you’re on a compatible data plan, when you visit

Set up your mobile hotspot.

It’s easy to switch to a compatible plan that does if you want to.

Here is how to change your plan:

  1. Go to Change my plan. You’ll see your current plan and our most popular options.
  2. Select Compare to my plan to see the differences.
  3. Follow the prompts to change your plan.

Try this and let us know how it goes, so that we can help you start using your hotspot.

My plan clearly says it has hotspot. I have checked it. If it isn’t offered then that is false advertising because it says it is included in my plan when I log into my account and yet it won’t let me set it up.
