Not receiving SMS message with links sent from twilio

Messages sent from twilio that contain a shortened link do not send to AT&T customers. They send to all other carriers and only get filtered by AT&T. What can I do to figure out why this is happening and what needs to change? These messages were previously sending in late 2022 and only stopped work recently

Hey there, @bwteisman! Thank you for making us aware that this situation that messages are being blocked from Twillo that contain shortened links. Let's look into this!

First, try resolving your experience by composing a new email message and send a text, picture, or video message to a wireless number.

  • Text message - Compose a new email and enter the recipient's 10-digit wireless number, followed by @txt.att.net. For example, 5551234567@txt.att.net.
  • Picture or video message - Compose a new email and enter the recipient's 10-digit wireless number, followed by @mms.att.net. For example, 5551234567@mms.att.net.

Every AT&T wireless number has a corresponding email address. You can send an email to that address and have it delivered to the device as a text, picture, or video message. Likewise, you can send a text, picture, or video message to any email address from your wireless device.

Also, you may want to follow the recommendation provided in this Forums thread. Scroll to the last message in the thread to view the results. It is likely that those AT&T customers will have to contact us to unblock your phone number so that they can receive your messages.

Give this a try and let us know how this works for you!
