need help with understanding logic of call protect
Using "Call Protect" for a year - awesome app. Spam calls are not bugging me or they not even showing in the Recents. Once a week I open the app to check if I missed anything.
What can I say, nothing changed in terms of the volume of the spam calls. Actually, the increased. Calling 5-15 times in a row in 1 minutes span (I guess in the hope I pick up the call :P)
Looks like AT&T is really indifferent to such behavior. Can wonderful engineers at AT&T fix this issue? It is so simple to program a logic when a number calls more than 3 times in under a minute -- it is not human. Block it for a day, it is simple.

They are even marked with "valid" number, it means this mark is not reason to trust the system. FWIW I reported and blocked several times in the past too.

Hello there @async, we definitely understand your concerns with needing to block unwanted calls.
Please be advised, for [V] valid number calling, only our company and a few others are initially confirming the originating number is valid. As more phone companies come onboard and begin using this advanced technology, the percentage of validated calls will increase.
We want you to try the following to manage blocked calls on your device:
To block SPAM RISK calls:

As I said, it is all set on my app -- everything is blocked and unknown numbers go to voicemail. I just want AT&T to notice that something can be done better. (Think of older people or kids with phones who cannot voice their opinion and will just hold a grudge.)
All I see at the moment, that the AT&T official response above along the lines "we don't care".
